Claire studied French and Spanish at the University of Leeds before completing her PGCE at the University of Exeter. She taught for 12 years in the UK and then internationally, first at Dulwich College, Suzhou, China and then Singapore. She joined Thomas’s Fulham as a Year 5 class teacher and English Lead. Her current responsibilities involve championing a focus on metacognition. She oversees curriculum planning, supporting school-wide monitoring and evaluation, as well as overseeing professional development. As the Outcomes and Progress Lead, she is responsible for ensuring the rigorous assessment of the curriculum’s impact, teaching standards and overall pupil progress.
